Slovura
Slovura is a monosyllabic constructed language (conlang) derived from [Toki Pona]] and Kawaba.
Philosophy and Structure
Slovura follows the minimalist semantic logic of Toki Pona but optimizes for brevity and compounding:
-
Monosyllabic Roots: Every basic concept is exactly one syllable (usually CV or CCV).
-
Compounding: Multiple roots are combined to create complex meanings (e.g., Slovura itself).
-
Phonology: Heavily influenced by Slavic (Czech) and Germanic (English) sounds for its root origins.
Etymology
The name Slovura is a compound word:
-
slo: Say, speech, language (from Czech slovo).
-
vu: Cut, divide, part (from English divulsion).
-
ra: Can, possible (from Latin ratio).
Combined, it translates to "The language of useful parts."
