Slovura 12 - Singular and Plural

Slovura does not require number to be specified.

To explicitly express multiple members of a concept, add -te.

-te — plural

te is a whole-word modifier.

Making a Word Plural

ka

person

kate

ka + te

people / persons

Without -te, plurality is not explicitly marked.

Plural Compound Words

The same rule applies to compounds:

kasapa

sibling

kasapate

(kasapa) te

siblings

The concept is constructed first and then pluralized as a whole.

Stacking with Gender

Whole-word modifiers can stack:

kasapano — brother

kasapanote((kasapa) no) tebrothers

kasapana — sister

kasapanate((kasapa) na) tesisters

The structure is:

word + gender + plural
